Default These seats are total Bull DOOKIE!!!!!

Yes C5 seats are horrid... wow.. they are comfortable, but suck on the track.... I was gonna get track tires next month, it's gonna be a A4 seat I am just about 100%.

I was having to hold myself in the dang seat while on the track... oh well....

Here is a vid of my 1st track day in the vette... still learning to trust it and the tires and brakes.. and I still suck at driving...LMAO.. TGPR is the track.. I will be going back monday... yes, 5 days from now.. so maybe I will be better.. maybe not

get yourself some rubber tool box liner. Cut a piece to put on your seat bottom for now. You will not slide around as much.

I have what GM calls a "sport seat" in my std. C5 - it has a cut out at about shoulder level so two shoulder straps can be pulled through.
So I installed a B-K harness bar and use a Crow 6pt. harness. This works well for AX and HPDEs.

The full seat can be cut out if you take the seat cover off and repalce it witha sport seat cover. A guy at Carlisle said to use an electric carving knife to trim the foam.

Yea...your passenger side speaker is probably crushed by my knee
and almost pulled the seat out of the tracks trying to stay
in one place and not in your lap...LOL!!! don't even mention
your door handle!!! enjoyed the ride though.
