Default Nitto NT01 possible new sizes

Would you buy a set of Nitto NT01 tires for your HPDE or other track needs if you could buy them in sizes 285X35X18 and 335X30X19?

This tire size would be the exact match for as for as specs go as the NT05 street tire. If enough people would purchase these sizes Nitto would make them. I will throw up a pole if it looks positive and send the results to a couple of tech guys there. Please see the poll in this Road race section and no longer post here. TIA

I know at least two poeple that would buy them, although they would rather have 345 / 295 combo.

I would. I've had experience with the nt01's with my 996 Porsche. Compared to toyoRA1's they're less $$ & held it's own (time wise). Definitely would be interested. Specially if price fair.

While you are suggesting sizes, how about tires for the ZR1? As more of these cars get into the hands of people who track them, availability of an affordable R-comp for the stock wheels would be simply wonderful...

You should change your avatar and profile description. Only the C4 ZR-1 had a dash in it. The 2010 has no dash ZR1

I'm going to put up a pole, I was gauging interest. I picked those sizes because there available in the NT05 a street tire. The diameter is correct for the Z06 C-6, I find it strange that these guys at Nitto didn't have the size available in a competition tire for road race application.

I would definitely buy a set! In fact I have been milking my Nt-05s for as long as I can in the hope that Nitto will offer the NT01 in Z06 sizes soon.

If there is anything you can do to get these tires made I will put down the cash right now!

I know it is wishful thinking...but, If we can get them in the next couple of weeks I could use them for the El Toro Pro Solo.

Charley
