Default I miss Frank Gonzalez. I really wanted him to see this...

http://gulfcoastautocrossers.com/201...nt%204_raw.htm

He gave me a lot of info on setting up my C6Z for autocross and he had previously raced at Gulfcoast and kicked azz in his C6Z. I finally got my first FTD there. Only missed showing him by a few months.

RIP my friend.

Edit: In his memory, I found the the link to the day he and Landstra kicked azz in his car...

I finally got my first set of Hoosiers this year after Frank let me try a set at NJMP last year. When I mounted them on the car for my first event this week it occured to me that I didn't know what tire pressures to use. Normally I would have just shot him a mail but instead I ended up searching through his posts to the forum. We miss you Frank.

WHAT!!!!!!!!
This is the first I've heard of this.

I have not been in touch with this site for awhile since the past year. I've had my own battle with throat cancer but beaten it. I am SHOCKED and saddened that none of my friends have told me about this. What, when, where and how????? Please fill me in.

I have about 50 decals Frank's home SCCA region (Philly) had made up to remember him. The decal is a yellow circle with a 97 printed in the same script that Frank had for his car number.

I will mail anyone one of these decals if you drop me an e-mail with your address. Just send me an e-mail at: Stlandstra@aol.com

We all miss Frank and this is a nice tribute to place on our cars. Let me know if you want a decal for your car.

Steve

Frank was my instructor at NJMP last year and I had requested for him to be my instructor at VIR this year. His great competative spirit touched a lot of people.

ok you guys are now depressing me! Its my first event for RTR PCA this weekend, and he won't be there for a change. I miss Frank, he fixed a few corners for me with such easy simple to understand advice.

It's always so nice to see that now matter how competitive we all are out there, that the community is always so tight nit and friendly :-)

Steve you hitting Shenandoah / Jeff this weekend?
