we drive a 05 z06 need to remove the sun visor on the drivers side How do I go about doing this Thanks

search in C5 section there are directions. or C5 how to? It is a PITA One came roght out the other one I could not get out without breaking it,

Actually, the '05 Z06 does not come with sun visors.



I think you mean '06 Z06

Basically, you cram a screwdriver up into the plastic ring around the shaft, and yank on it until it rips off. I've yet to get one off without mangling the plastic bushing up. You are supposed to replace the larger ring anyway though. Even after removing and reinstalling several, it is still a major PITA!

'05 sun visors did not come with a Z06.

I know. I know. I'll go away and be quiet now.
