Default What first.... new shocks or competition sways?

If you were to do one at a time would you do new competition type shocks (not coilovers) or do the sways? And why? The car has 14,000 mi on it now. You can see the list of other mods on my signature

Thanks for your comments

The shocks will provide a better street ride and slightly better track times if you get adjustables like Pfadt or Penske (soft setting on the street and stiffer for the track). The sways will be worse on the street but you will get a bigger improvement in track times. Even adjustable sways will give a harsher ride on the street in the soft setting. If you get both you'll get a somewhat rougher ride on the street and a obvious improvement on the track. Shocks are about $2,000+, sways are about $700+. It's up to you.

Better cornering/stability and I'm doing more high-speed track time and less auto-x.
Thanks

I think an appropriate question to ask is "what do you plan on doing with the car?" This may affect the overall recommendation as what you will see most benefit from first.

Ah...sorry, just saw you posted this. I'd have to agree that the sways will be a great place to start with between the two components. You aren't seeing any problem with the OEM dampers are you?
