I've got a group buy going in the C5 section. Road racers may want to check it out.

So I guess a quaife is T1 legal??? I have a new Quaife diff with 3.42 gears and cooling lines built in for tranny and diff sitting on a shelf that I bought on this forum and I figured I would not be able to use it if I ran T1. Are the hardbar SKF hubs legal for T1?

Sweet! Guess I'm running out of excuses . Actually I'm moving as fast as I can to get the car prepped. Cage and fire system will be done next week. Found some used T1 suspension parts so all I will need are T1 legal wheels/tires and a license.

You can do the SCCA SuperSchool, which already happened this year in SoCal or maybe they still have one up north.

I can also guide you through the waiver process. From all that I have seen you should qualify to get waivered into a novice racing permit. Four clean races and you graduate to a full race license. That is the route I took.

double regional at Laguna Seca June 12/13 would be a great place to come out for the first time as long as you don't have those monster 13" wide wheels on the back you'll be fine...i promise Carl and I won't protest you unless you win..

you can apply for a waiver on the license with your track experience and NASA license too

Oli

With Oli's help I went straight from being an SCCA member with no SCCA license (I completed 4 regionals under a vintage HSR license) to being waived for my National license
