Default $100 to camp for the weekend at BArber with PCA??? WTF??

Never in my life have I seen such exorbitant camping rates!"?? wtf? Camping is supposed to be a cheap alternative to getting a hotel, not a competing one!

I don't think I paid that much to camp when Indy came to barber a few months ago!

Maybe I'll just get a Motel 6 in Irondale. Sheesh.

That's crazy........ I've gotten where I just sleep in my trailer and don't let them know. I'll pay a reasonable price for power, but when camping costs more than a hotel, they don't deserve our business!

no ****. I couldn't believe it when I heard it. I was expecting $30 for the two night weekend. I can stay at a motel in Irondale for $55 a night, for $110 total. Camping for $100 for two nights is insane.

got through with my email correspondence with an organizer and he said that Barber fees were $25/night + $50 utility hook ups. I said that I wasn't going to need an electrical hook up for my tent and they told my to subtract $50.

A free country. You don't have to go to Barbers or any other track if you don't like the rules. Build your own track and you can park across the line as much as you like.

Thank you very much. I have plenty of other tracks to run on, and RENT which I put events on too.

I tried Barber in a tent, once. I still sweat thinking about it.

Not if you camped in April for the Indy car race. If you camped then, you'd still be shivering from the 45* temps at night. I'm thinking middle June will be tolerable.

No way you did that in June of '08 with NASA. If so then you're crazier than I thought. That was the worst heat I've ever been through in my life.
