Default Hotels near Monticello?

I am doing a Monticello event in a couple weeks and are bringing the family along for the day. Normally, I'd pick any place with a bed, but want something clean and decent for the family.

Anyone have any recomendations? Not having lots of luck with the usual websites and the track website doesn't have any recommendations.

My club had over 80 people there for a TT about a month ago. Below is the list of recommendations that was given to us. Each place got mixed reviews but you know what opinions are like .

I stayed @ the Lodge @ Rock Hill. It wasn't fabulous but I've stayed @ worse for sure. Biggest complaint was that the ice machine wasn't working while we were there. It's easy to get to and is only a couple of exists away from the track.

Hope this helps.

Hotel Recommendations:

• The Lodge at Rock Hill (845) 796-3100 (10 minutes)
• The Inn at Lake Joseph (845) 791-9506 (5 minutes)
• Courtyard Marriot in Middletown (845) 695-0606‎ (25 minutes)
• Days Inn Liberty (845) 292-7600‎ (15 minutes)
• Bradstan Country Hotel (845) 583-4114‎ (15 minutes)
• Hampton Inn – (570) 491-5280 – (30minutes in Matamoras, PA‎ )

Don't know when you are going, but I will be there with Audi 14/15 June and staying at the Lodge. I can let you know how the place is to stay. This will be my first time at the track.

Agree, the reviews are all over the place for local Monticello hotels.

Stayed at the Hampton Inn in Matamoras PA last month and am staying there again this coming weekend. Neat, clean, indoor salt water pool with Continental breakfast.

I travel quite a bit with my job and I find the Hilton properties to be repeatably good.

Less than 30 minutes from the hotel to the track.

Matt,
What event are you attending? I'm looking for some Monti dates.

I stayed at the Hampton Inn last year...nice/clean and there's a little pool, too. Probably going to stay there again for the 25th, too.
See you there.

Be good,
TomK
