Rob 31....NASA (National Auto Sports Association) runs races, time trial and High Performance Driving Events at different venues throughout the country. You can go here to learn a bunch http://www.nasamidwest.com/
The neat thing is you can watch some great wheel to wheel racing, participate to beat the clock and fellow competitors in time trial, OR start as a newb and progress through the entire HPDE process. It is a great program with GREAT people. Even if you don't want to compete/participate next weekend you should stop by Blackhawk and watch some of the action.

Ken Smith was trying to get me to come out this past weekend at the Katech Track Attact at Autobahn South. I ran a 1:34.5 in my SCCA Solo SS car on old A6's.
I just dont want to have to switch my car over from SCCA Solo to NASA TT specs. It would be sweet if a SCCA SS car could be competitive in a TT class as is. There is a huge number (maybe 100?) of people running SCCA SS across the country that would be more interested in coming out. Maybe some day...

Chris,
It would just take a different set of wheels and tires, I know tires are aren't cheap at first but if you really want to do both you could.
Plus you can get contingency with both NASA and SCCA so if you get enough in your class tires should take car of themselves.
Your 1.34.5 would've be a nice lap in TTA
