Default [NoVa/MD/DC/WV]C³ Car Control Clinic - Sat. 8/7/10

The NVCC presents its newest driving event, the C³ Car Control Clinic, on Saturday, August 7th, 2010 from 7 AM - 4 PM at the Jefferson Circuit in Summit Point, WV.

Morning exercises, multimedia presentation, and afternoon lapping will keep attention and energy high, as there is so much to learn in one day.

Groups will be set for:

Novice - Those with no track experience wanting to get started and those who wish to apply skills learned to street driving
Intermediate - Those with some track experience who wish to advance their skills
Advanced - Those with more track experience who wish to get competition licenses and master advanced techniques such as heel-toe and trail braking, with no speed restrictions

Please indicate which group you wish to be registered for (however, the NVCC retains the right to group drivers at their discretion). It is our intention to host a safe event for everyone.

This all-day event is a bargain at $190 per driver. This event is limited to a small number of participants (36) for a maximum amount of seat time. Lunch will be provided for those who participate in the full day of events.

We also have a brand new feature called the "Taste of the Track" at a greatly reduced rate of $40 and will allow new drivers to experience a single track session at highway speeds and one classroom session. This option is open to 10 drivers.

Cars of all makes and models are encouraged to come out. Helmets are not required for the "Taste of the Track" option, but are required for the Novice/Intermediate/Advanced groups. Helmets must be SA 2000 or newer and can be rented or purchased at www.ogracing.com (no motorcycle helmets, please). Fire extinguisher and roll-bars for convertibles are required for the advanced group. Long pants, long sleeved shirt, and closed toe shoes are required. No timing equipment allowed.

The cut-off date for registrations and last chance for refunds is 7/31/10.
