Eagles Canyon
I finally got down and ran Eagles Canyon Saturday. It was a fun track, with a couple of spots that you have to respect. I think I finally got the car where I want it for now. New thermostat cured my temp issues, the Dewitts kept things cool. Now that I've learned the basic line there I'm ready to go back. My instructors were very skilled and helped me get the line fairly early. Can't wait to go back.

I don't have any idea. I didn't even put my transponder in. I was just trying to learn the track (my first time there). My first session I didn't even shift. Just put it in 4th and listened to the instructor (Bryan Henderson for the first session) talk about the track and worked on learning the track and the line. My instructor did sign off for solo on my 3rd session. I guess I'm just a slow learner! Had a great time and met some nice folks. I talked with co-owner Linda Cook for quite a while, interesting person.
I will definitely be back. I just wish it was not so far.

You could come up to Hallett. I'm there every month. $95 for 5 sessions. Not a bad deal.
