Will I be able to put these on a 17" rim up front?

Thanks

Brake cooling ducts work with 17" wheels, yes. I have to turn my wheel to full lock to get in my garage (tight quarters side entry garage) and the ducts are ok with it. The hoses are getting a little worn but can be patched up.

Call Randy at DRM. I'm sure he has all the answers you need.

I have the DRM ducts with the 17x9.5 Z06 wheels. A few notes:

- How much, if any, rubbing you get depends to some extent on the install. These are not a precise fit, there is a range of positions for where the duct's mounting screw goes into the frame (i.e. it depends where you drill the hole).

- The ducts end in a 3.5" outside diameter round hole. Most of the flexible tubing used to attach the DRM plastic to the spindle is 3". When I first installed, I stretched, cut and duct taped the tubing over the outside of the DRM plastic. This led to rubbing. I later fabbed up a way to mount the tubing on the inside of the hole and it works much better.

- Even so, I still get a small amount of rubbing on the duct at full lock.

They will work fine with stock Zo6 wheels. As previously stated fitment is not exact. I had to relocate the right duct slightly lower after the initial install to eliminate rubbing on the duct at full lock. It also helps a lot to zip tie the ducts to the A arms to keep them away from the wheel. All in All, they are a good product that will help keep your brakes cool in track applications.

Thank you for your input. I guess I will need to play around with the install

mount them lower rather than higher and you should be OK at the point where you may have wheel interference. depending on which swaybar and links you are running, you may need to zip tie the hose to the upper CA to get some angle going to prevent swaybar from digging into it.
