ap cp5555 pad shapes

That is the shape I use for mine. There are two different pad depths for that caliper, D54 and D51. My setup was speced to use the 51 depth and I never tried the 54 even though it looks like it would work. The different pad manufactures have different numbers. I've used Pagid, Mintex, Fedarro and EBC pads. Currently I have the EBC yellows and blues, in my 51 depth their #'s are: yellow-DP4005 blue-DP5005. The Mintex that I used :AP00FD51 MXN, fried them at Road America had to put old Pagids on, I think they were a street pad ,Stillen said this pad would work at RA, they sucked. The Pagid and Fedarro #'s I do,nt have handy but can get them if needed. I was also looking at Performance Friction pads, shape: PF 790-01184, but I think they were 54 depth and 01 compound. I've been happy with the EBC's, have used the yellows only so far, held up well at Gingerman and some auto crossing. When I go back to RA I'll try the blues, more of a race pad.Summit sells the EBC's and are priced very well or Andy at EBC who I've been dealing with. The only places that I know of for AP are Essex, DRM and Stillen. Also the pad thickness is 18mm for my setup, I think these pads come in a 21mm thickness. Kind of a pia but once you get your setup and numbers straight I would'nt part with them.

Just wanted to jump in here and apologize for any of my guys here giving you bad pad info. I have raced at RA many times over the past few years and would have never recommended the standard MXM pad. Mintex makes a specific F6R pad just for this type of application. We also have the new Hawk DTC60 and DTC70 compounds that seem to work very well on Vettes and even the heavier GT500s. Make sure with any of your braking needs you get in touch with eiterh myself or Chris B who runs our Brake Pros division. We have the experience and the knowledge to get you the right set up, whether is it Ferrodo, Pagid, Hawk, Mintex, or our own brand, we can get you dialed in.
Don't forget when ordering brake pads that the more information you give to our sales team, the better suited the pads will be for your application.

No problem about the pads, I survived, just disapointed, lasted 1 day. How do I get in touch with you? Can you PM me or something so I can get your name or number. I need the two removable pins and sleeves that hold the pads in the AP5555 caliper, a set pair for each side. The calipers are from you guys.
Found you in the signature, stupid me.

Absolutely...and this will save you money. The ST-60 fits perfect and is actually better (my humble opinion) because it has two ears that extend down past the pad material and are not hidden by the caliper. This lets you visually inspect your remaining pad thickness. I have the DRM setup and there are no issues with the ears touching the hats...if there were, no biggie, a little grinder time and the ears are gone.
I went with the Carbotech XP-12's and the ST-60 shape is about $40 cheaper...adds up to a free set of pads/year for me. There also seems to be more selection of compounds for the ST-60 shape.
Hope that helps.

David,
Check with Bob at Performance AFX, he just had the new pad made.
I also had the pad made in the Carbotech's about 6 years ago. I should still have backing plates over there and I am sure Danny can put what ever material you would like on them.
Which rotor and caliper are you running. Did you get them from Bob?
