Default Open car trailer for sale
SOLD!!!!!
I have an all steel, open center, dove tailed trailer for sale. Deck is 17.5 feet long, 103 inches wide, 83 inches between fender wells. Fender height is 7.5 inches, and my lowered CRX and C 6 Corvette both clear the fenders when opening the doors. The previous owner owns a race prepped, lowered, Porsche 911 and never had issues with door clearance. Fenders are removable with four bolts if they ever need removing. Ball connector to end of tongue area is 4ft, 3in, and can be towed safely behind an RV. Trailer has brakes on both axles, new LED tail lights, and like new tires, plus new spare tire and wheel. It has an up-right pole on each ramp for hauling race tires, and four heavy duty D rings. Heavy duty steel ramps rest in rear section. Dry, trailer weighs 1700 lbs...very light and well balanced for an all steel trailer. Open center allows easy access to work under car if necessary. This is the best towing trailer I have ever owned, and I've owned a bunch of them...Trailer is located in the Central KY area...

I am asking $1795.00, have clear title, and will deliver free within a hundred miles. Further delivery for negotiated fee.

You may call me at 214 288 3922, or respond by email to psosborne@windstream.net

Very nice, can you drive up on the trailer with your vette with only the ramps, or do you need ramp extensions or blocks to avoid scraping?

Steve, unfortunately, I have to use a couple of 2x10s in front of the ramp...If I crank it up higher, that helps too. I do have a set of aluminum ramps borrowed from a friend of mine that allows easier loading, but he wants 250 for those...and they are only about 72 inches long...

If I didn't already have my open trailer I would get yours, Phil. Having seen the trailer in person I must say it is a nice one. Good luck on the sale. Price certainly is right. Missed seeing you at VIR. Don, Bill and I hooked up off of I81 and caravaned to the track. What a blast. Get some things squared away and make plans to join us when you can.
