Default Running C5 Z06 10.5" wheels all around

Recently I installed a set of C5 z06 10.5" alcoas on the front with 295's. The problem is they flare out a bit. Does everyone have this problem who run (4) 10.5" z06 wheels all around? I'll try to take a picture.

I have a set of those I run on my C5Z. They seem to fit fine on all four corners.

Do you have pictures of your setup by any chance?

I have a full set of 4 with 315/35 V710s that seem to clear without issue. Have test fit on car, but no track time on them to confirm no rubbing

My front set rub against the brake ducts with 295's at full lock. That's a little weird that your set doesn't rub on the brake ducts.

Here's the information I have for the front and rear wheels.

Rim Name Size Offset Backspacing
C5 Corvette Z06 17x9.5 front 54mm 7.2"
C5 Corvette Z06 18x10.5 rear 58mm 7.9"

So in fact the 18x10.5" wheels have a 4mm aggressive offset compared to the 17x9.5" in addition to the width.

Maybe he's not running aftermarket ducts? For sure my square setup of 315's rub on the LG ducts and the outboard fender well. And the front's stick out from the edge of the fender about 1/2", give or take. But I like the fact I can rotate tires front to back and side to side, plus flip 'em on the wheels. I've gotten three HPDE events out of this latest set of Kumho scrubs.

I have the same setup but lowered about halfway on stock bolts. I had to remove the brake ducts, under load at full lock it was rubbing. I'm just autox so no brake ducks dosn't bother me.

No front ducts on my car yet....
I will have to get creative with ducts as I have twin intercoolers (for procharger blower) where the traditional ducts come through the front of the wheel wells.

I'm running 305/315s on 18x10.5 Z06 wheels with no rubbing issues. No brake ducts, either.

HTH, and have a good one,
Mike

295/30 A6's square for me, and I have had 315/35 710's on the front as well. No issues other than a little rub on the inner fender liner, and I do not have brake ducts either.

315's may get you a little outer fender lip clearancing depending upon how low you are, how much camber you run, and how stiff your setup is, just an FYI

G'luck

C5 FRC here with C5 Z06 18x10.5s on all four corners. Yes they stick out a little, but they work great!
