Default Coilovers for "nose heavy" C6Z?

I hope this question won't seem too weird, but you guys are the ones that know about handling, so I ask it here.

I'm getting close to the end of a project that involves installing a an LSX-based engine in my street C6Z, which already has a ProCharger setup. We don't have corner weights yet, but I imagine that between the blower, iron block, intercooler, bigger radiator, etc we're adding about 200 pounds over the front wheels compared to stock. Obviously the car isn't going to be roadraced, but I'd still like to retain as much handling as I can.

So, question: can the typical DRM/LG/Pfadt coilovers be fitted with different springs to make up for the change in weight distribution? I ask because I don't see different spring sets advertised in any of the catalogs. Or is this even the right way to approach this problem?

Feedback and recommendations appreciated.

I'd give them each a call. I am sure they can each set up what you need.

Stiffer springs will help carry the weight without bottoming out of the car/suspension
They cannot redistribute the weight, for that you will need to move the weight physically in the car

So far as I know all of the coilover vendors can fix you up with custom spring rates if you call them and tell them what you have/need/want.

I believe there is a company that makes custom C6 leaf springs, if that is the way you wanted to go. matched with shocks i would assume it would be less money cause you would just need to do front.

Exactly...

All of our G2 coil overs are built to each customer's specifications. I even built a set for a 5400 lb Bonneville Land Speed Corvette so I can put on there pretty much anything you would like.

Springs typically go 50lb splits from 400-1000 lbs and 100 lb above that and 25 lb below that.

Let me know any questions you have, always glad to help.

If you go with Pfadt, I have a set of higher rate springs used for the same situation you're in. Not using them so they're available if you need them.
