Default ASP autocross, need spring info (concrete)

So, my plans for the rest of the year are to get my car fully prepared to hopefully be competitive at the national level in SCCA ASP class next year with my 02 Z06. I just installed the big wheels (18x11 and 18x12) and tires (315 & 335). What I need is information for the correct rate springs to be used for setup for concrete. So anybody got a clue?

I am in the same boat, same setup, same exact decision to make (2004 Z06).

There are the Hyperco springs, which add about 100 lbs. Is there a better choice to make?

I used Danny Popp's ASP setup. The car was the fastest ASP car in San Diego Nat. 2008.

I think the fast guys are even using bigger springs from VB&P. I just have no idea what rate to get for front and/or back.

Yes, the Hyperco don't seem like a major change from OEM, so that makes sense. I'll give VBP a call at some point and ask about the rates on their "extreme" springs. (They look cheaper, too.)

Your going to be shooting for #1000 front. #750 rear. Something close to that.

I've got a set of Hyperco HPT track springs for C5 Z06. Front & Rear new are $550 each. Selling mine for a total of $600. I used them for one season on a 2004 Z06. Let me know if anyone is interested. Thanks. I also have a set of 4 OEM 2004 GM shocks, Hawk DTC70 F&R pads, HPS & HP+ pads for sale.

The VBP actually exceed that by a bit.

VETTRACER11, what is the rating on the HPTs?

Thanks,

Jim

C5 rear springs don't fit a C6.

Edit: Don't mind me. Saw the avatar and then saw the C5 in the thread. :-/

Edit #2: In an attempt to be useful, the Hyperco HPT springs are 625# front, 850# rear.
