J.R.,
Can you qualify the statement that you like the feel of the Hawk's better than the Pagids?
I was looking at switching to the RS-29 compound pads from Ferodo DS3000 fronts and Pagid Blue combo for the track (sorry, I have Brembos). I've been experiencing pad deposit from the Ferodos.
What Hawk compound pads are you using?

Jonathan,
I think for my style of extremely hard initial brake application that the DTC70/DTC60 combination works better. I think the Pagid is probably a better endurance pad and I know the Porsche guys love the Pagid yellow.
Pads are sometimes a tradeoff. I think I could get more rotor and pad life with the Pagid's but the Hawk's initial bite feels more comfortable to me.

J.R.,
Thanks for the info. I personally like pads with a lot of initial bite. I find they are easier to modulate.
Good to know about the Hawks. I was considering the DTC 70/60 combo or the CL RC8 pads (no bed-in--I like that)
The Pagid RS-29 pads for the Brembo monoblock 6 and monoblock 4 calipers are also quite expensive--like 1K--another strike against them.
That being said, I know of someone with a dedicated 06Z track car that uses the RS-29 pads and he loves them. I guess they suit his driving style.
Apologies for getting this thread off track. Good luck with the sale.
