Default Boris Said to race a Corvette @ NJMP

According to NJ Motorsports Park's web site, Boris Said will be co-driving the #31 Whelen Engineering Corvette with Eric Curren in the Rolex there this weekend.

The article says that the team hopes to have Said in the car for the balance of the season.

He was hit from behind in Lou's car that caused all the problems.

I didn't hear about Johnny being there. I know Jan Magnussen is there driving one of the Stevenson Motorsports Camaro's (#97)

Lou's there but not driving this weekend. Eric Lux & Kelly Collins will be behind the wheel. Lou told me yesterday that he's hoping to add a second car next year and drive full time. O'Connell is driving the Autohaus Camaro this weekend.

Chevrolet had a good showing Saturday. Jon Fogarty took the overall pole in the Chevy powered Gainsco Riley, and Chevrolet took the top three starting spots in GT, with the Banner Racing Corvette on the pole. The 2 Stevenson Racing Camaros will be starting 2nd & 3rd.

Below are a couple of pictures of the LG, the Whelen and the Banner Corvettes.

Glenn, to answer your question, no I won't be down this weekend, but you probably figured that out already. I knew I would at least have some good pics of the vettes to look at.

I can confirm the Boris sighting.

We chose not to interrupt him on his iPhone.

I got a killer shot of the car, at full res, which I won't post here it absolutely POPS. Great color scheme. The car was retired but I never did hear what happened.

I take it Boris doesn't have the Sobe No Fear sponsorship anymore.

There has to be a way to keep Adam Christodoulou from running into the 07 Corvette. Twice in as many races!! And the 07 was leading at the time!

The commentators said 3 times, A team member driver said 2X, dunno which is correct but it is ridiculous.

Guess not At least Red Bull can absorb the cost of repairs rather easily
