Passing of Gene Harry, Sebring, FL
Fellow drivers and car enthusiasts, we have lost one of our own, last night. Gene Harry, Sebring, FL passed away last night. He was 59.
He and his wife Denna have been involved in driving and racing for many, many years and have participated as volunteers in the Sebring events, helping out in the SCCA booth, and delivering food to the corner workers.
He was my best friend and I will never forget him.
Please say a prayer for his family. Thank you.

My condolences on the passing of your best friend.
While I did not know him, I cherish the support of all the enthusiastic volunteers that make the races happen.
I will say a prayer for you both.

Thank you, everyone, for your kind words.
This is a tough one, especially for me. He purchased his Z06 purely on the ride I gave him in mine. He was a car guy through and through.....used to cruise Woodward Ave and his dad worked all his life for GM. He was a driver, mechanic, fabricator, welder........you name it, he could do it. He was my mentor and one to whom I could talk "cars" to for hours.............
