Default RD ATL - do you guys leave cars overnight?

I am doing the Chin event Sunday only. This will be my first time towing car there, so after tech Sat night, I would rather leave car and trailer overnight if safe. Or would it be safer at hotel? I have a lock for trailer coupler. What do you guys do?

I always leave mine in the paddock overnight.
Just make sure Sunday morning that you still have all of your lug nuts if drivinhard is there.

LOL! Always leave mine in the paddock also. Safer there than at the hotel. JD

At pro races and even some SCCA races a lot of stuff has been stolen including golf carts and small motorcycles. One year when World Challenge raced there they had more than a dozen reports of missing stuff, some of it expensive. Lock you stuff up in a trailer and chain the wheels together with a case hardened lock.

:o
That reminds me that I need to give yours back. I found mine about a month ago wedged between my tailgate and bumper.

I live 45 min away, when I was dragging a tire trailer for a NASA event I'd drop it off on Friday and take it home Sunday.
If I get to go in August I'll take the car trailer and leave everything there for the weekend.

I leave the keys in the race car since the best thing that could happen to me financially would be for it be stolen.

There's usually a donor car or 2 at Mark's before the weekend's over.

Some people don't even wait until it gets to his house and start ripping out parts before the carcass is even cold....

Can't be late to grid, Jeff'll put me in the back and make me pass the field.
