that is hilarious!!! I love it!
I had an 07 M5 driver in my group at streets of willow fit this character almost spot on. He tried to out accelerate around me in a point by group on the warm up lap while yellow flags were still up...genius...when he passed my car, wayy too hot,he fell off the track coming out of the bowl ....got mad at me for going to slow....kicked up dirt on the track, put people in danger, and was upset he got yelled at...brilliant!

I was in a white Mazda Miata.....I caught up to you was was stuck there for 3 laps!
I didn't point you by because I thought you would crash in front of me....or burst into flames!

In all seriousness, if ever I did have a student with that attitude, I believe I would have to inform him/her that I would be looking for three things during our next session; line discipline, track awareness and track etiquette for the run group class. If I saw no improvement from the beginning of session to the end, I believe a talk with the track day promoter would be in order. I really would not be that concerned with his/her personal enjoyment for the day but rather the safety of others that want to learn.

Melting Slicks
that's why I'm (almost) out of this sport. It has gotten too popular, which has brought out the "best" of drivers.

Like Tom always says "if you see a car in your mirror...God didn't put him there!" Such simple and yet Sage advice

Man.. here I was thinking I was the ONLY guy at trackdays with this problem. I am sooooo glad this guy pointed out the constant problem. I need to be in the fastest group wherever I am so I can run my 600 hp car flat out. And I don't have to worry about all these unsafe cars bursting into flames behind me
