Now that's what I'm talking about! ...but, I can't understand why the Lizard was featured in the press release for earning 5th (in class) on the grid.

Anyway, I'm sure I won't be the only one glued to Speed's coverage tomorrow afternoon to see how it all plays out. GT rocks!

I'll be there. I'm hoping I can stand right behind the corvette pit set up again like last year. Pits were open and you could stand 5' from the pit lane monitors and watch the race. It was just a short chain link fence between you and the crew. That was awesome!

That's what I did. Had storms that knock out our power, so we spent the day at Road America.

http://www.speedtv.com/speed-on-board-pass/

Camera angle from a gt porsche. Was a good place to watch the gt race while he was in the back, you could see all the other gt cars. Better than the tv coverage for a good amount of time.

They split strategy early in the race at the first caution.

Both cars qualified in the 2:06's and today they can't break in to the 2:08's?

... wow, it's 37:25 to go and there is some serious battling going on...

OMG, it's working! I better keep it up: God these guys suck! Why don't they just give up? What a disgrace!

Kidding aside, did anybody else catch Johnny O' mention they switched to a harder compound and now they're running faster? Did I hear that right?

Oh well, they've still got a ways to go, but at least one managed the podium.

In any event, hats off to Jonny Cocker for his drive. Flat thru the kink in an LMP1 takes some major stones.

P1 was unreal.
Anyone know how Gavin lost track of the P car at the end? With about 3 laps left he was on the tail of the Porsche, and every time they showed lap times, he was about .5 quicker than everyone. When they went back to him, he was 1.5 back.

I watched the race from the hill by the kink for about 30 min. Most of the LMP cars were traill braking in the corner. I didn't see anyone close to flat. The GT cars were getting through with a big lift and some were tapping the brakes.
