[video] Autox at Lemoore NAS, CA
My fast run of the day late in the afternoon -- a 1:37.032 -- with an A6 and a passenger. I believe it was top time for cars with fenders and 1st or 2nd PAX.
Another SCCA event will be held on Oct. 3rd at this site. Contact me for the required pre-registration information to get on base if you would like to attend.

Wow, now that's an auto-x! Nice driving, your car has a lot of torque and you have the reflexes of a teenager. Or were you in the passenger seat? Come on be honest .
Are you coming down to buttonwillow with me on Sept. 25th?

My diff is still slipping and makes getting the power down an adventure. You can hear it coming out of the first big sweeper. I may see if GM will rebuild it again under GMPP in leu of spending the money on a Quaife or similar. I'd also swap to 3:15 gears (from the 2.56) if I went aftermarket.
I don't think I'll make it to Bw. The new hubs took a chunk out of my racing budget so I need to recover a bit. But, autox is cheaper to run so doable. Have fun out there and set a faster personal best.

Thanks, Bill -- I think.

Yes, we checked also and received the same bad news. But, there is more coming for next year (like NAS) so don't despair. I'll keep you posted.

We have recently asked but haven't heard back yet. Currently, we only have one-day events scheduled so it hasn't been too big an issue. But, we hope to find a solution.
