Default StopTech C6Z big Brake Kit for Sale

I'm selling my BBKit off my 07Z STO race car to eliminate the 100lb weight penalty these monster brakes cost me in SCCA Nat Club Racing. Boy...will they stop you. I purchased new Stoptech slotted rotors and Hawk DTC pads and used them for 4 race weekends. These are the ST60 calipers front(6 piston) and ST40 rears(4 piston). Rotors are 15" front, 14" rear. Sale includes all 4 slotted rotors in excellent condition, 3 of 4 crossdrilled rotors(one front was warped). Original like new Stoptech pads. Hawk DTC70 front and Hawk DTC60 rear pads I used.(70% life left). And a new set of duplicate Hawk Pads. SS brake lines that came with the brakes. Front lines will work, rears too short for a Z but fine for a C6 coupe. You literally get little wear on track with these barkes and i Loved them. This kit retails for over 5k new and i'm throwing in over $1000 in pads and rotors. These are red painted calipers and now have a few scratches in the paint and some paint bubbles due to the SRF brake fluid. Here's a link to pics.

Wow, STO incurrs a weight penalty for brakes too? I thought it was more open than that. What are you guys switching to instead if you don't mind me asking?

Good luck on the sale

Sorry about the link Guys it didin;t copy properly...try this
http://www.vettesport.net/mod/galler...php?albumid=15
The rotors are 32 mm wide. I did some testing at Rd Atlanta with Wilwood for a new T1 pkg thay are offering/developing. The fronts were 14" rotors with the 4 piston Race Caliper with Thermolock piston upgrade and the rears 13" Rotor with the 4 Piston Superlite caliper. Initial results indicated more front bias needed. Since we were testing during qualifying sessions! we decided to give more front bias with the 6 piston front, allowed in STO but not T1, with the Thermolock piston upgrade vs. the more aggresive A pad they have and Nascar uses on high braking tracks. Results...perfect and just as equal and predictable as the Stop tech setup. They tell me the new Piston reduces Caliper Temps as much as 100 degrees.
Expect to see very aggresive pricing on the T1 setup soon from Wilwood.Paul at Van Steel will have this setup soon as he has worked very closely with Carl at Wilwood.
If link does not work go to www.Vettesport.net the Gallery and Gallery home for pics!
