MSR Houston In-car vid 8-14-10
So I finally got around to playing with my new in-car camera and editing the videos to get rid of the LAPS of traffic.
The following vid is the first truly clear lap I got in my first session ever on the track, so it was slow and my line sucked, but it shows what a fun track MSR-H is.
Fair warning, only try to view this if you have a GOOD internet connection (it's 1080p - 178 MB file)

Yup, that was MSR. That lap was the last one before the checkered flag (we took it at the end right after I caught up to him). He had a slow guy ahead of him. He did his red group checkride the next session (when I fried my brakes). The next morning, I did my shakedown session after cleaning things up a bit and was going to do my red group checkride after lunch, but noted a misfire. Given all that had happened that weekend, I figured the misfire was a sign to load it up. That plus having wrenched on the car extensively on a 105 degree weekend (in the garages), I was dehydrated despite having drank 4.5 gallons of water myself.
And yes Gary, it is a fun track. A whole lot more fun with the guys driving Das German marques realize you're faster and let you by. It is bumpy though, which is my only grip. You can see some of it in the video.
