Higher Pressure Surge Tank Caps
I am interested in increasing the pressure in the coolant system from 18 psi to about 20 psi.
I found these two caps but cant tell if they will really fit. Will figure it out when they arrive.
Anybody have any leads on caps that they know will work !! or that have more accurate settings so I can reduce the risk of over pressure?

Why use a higer pressure surge tank cap
When changing to a 20/80 or pure water and Water Wetter coolant mix. the boiling point of the coolant drops, raising the pressure increases the boiling point. So you get better cooling with water and Wetter and are still protected against boil over.
Fairly easy to get to boil over points at hot spots within the block, causing local boiling (air bubbles generated).
Have been fighting high coolant temps with the TVS2300 Supercharger on hot days at the track. So looking for everything that will help.
PS> Hope to get the Wallyman as an instructor in the near future.

take the car to a NAPA store and try on several ones in the parking lot
You still running stock radiator, stock overflow tank? might pop
just by replacing my 11 year old one with stock new one made a big difference

GM makes one for the OEM reservoir, just not sure what the part number would be. I had one from GM Racing once. However, like said, it does increase the load on every hose and clamp in the system, and I started having problems with lines blowing off. Unless a last resort, decreasing the temp is a better option than increasing the boil point.
