Who do we call?
I don't think I am the first person to have this problem. I am smart enough to adapt to this problem; but it would be nice if it didn't exist.
I have always wondered why GM took the wiper control off the dash and on to the steering column - I keep hitting it when I grab the steering wheel after making a 2-3 shift in the heat of an autocross.
Does anybody know of a GM site for suggestions?

Don't think it's so much that GM moved the wiper controls off the dash as it is the fact the stalk is just too close to the steering wheel. Both the wiper stalk and the turn signal "smart switch" stalk are fixed to the steering wheel assembly so they move when you use the telescope function.
If they were fixed in place it wouldn't be such a big deal.
I think both pieces are actually generic parts to a number of GM cars and they are probably sold to a number of foreign car manufacturers.

they probably use the same control on hundreds of thousands or really millions of cars so I doubt the few Vettes that get matter to them. Save your dime.
