Default Traqmate Installation Pics

Hey everyone. Trying to figure out where to install the display unit for my Traqmate in my C5. Anybody have any pics of their installation?

Thanks!

I suggest you try the Traqmate Universal Mount. Works with any left hand drive car.

All you need is a wrist band that you can pick up at any sports store. Simply attach the stock mount to the band with a few pop rivets.

Hey, that's a good idea Dan! It might work better with the wireless version though! No pesky wires getting in the way of moving your arm around!

Just a little duct tape holds the wire to your arm. I just run it up to my arm pit and down the inside of my shirt, then out above my belt and down between the seat and center console.

Simple stuff really. No need to spend $700 to have some BS fancy installation that probably overheats the sensor unit anyhow.

Pro clip. Works great. Attaches to where the climate control ***** are and angles towards driver. I will take a pic tonight for you.

here are a few pictures as I was running out. I can get you more pictures of how the traqmate is attached to the pro clip if you like the idea.

Love it. How did you mount it to the pro clip?

Looks like you have to choose a phone brand for the mount. Which one did you choose or does it matter?

I ordered proclip angled mount for 1997-2004 corvette item number 852659.

From traqmate You can order display unit mounting bracket (clip on/clip off).

You attach one of the pieces to the back of the display. The other piece attaches to the proclip. I had open the holes in the proclip with a drill so the screws would fit (proclip is not threaded. You can see i used nuts to hold it together in the last picture).

I can take a picture of the proclip and traqmate mount together this weekend.
