Default Static cling numbers...where to buy...autox in less than 48 hours

Any chain retailers carry stuff like that? Don't have time to order over the Internet.

TIA

Try a sign shop. I buy raw material and cut my own with scissors.

Go to an auto parts store and get a white window marker and use it until you get some #'s. I would suggest Solotime, thats where I got my reuseable #'s. The static cling I got from a sign shop didnt last very long after reapplying them a few times.

The old standard is blue painters tape. If your married and you wife like crafts, go to a craft store or wal mart and buy a Cricut machine and a roll of vyinl contact paper. You can make whatever you want.

I could have helped with a bit more time............. Contact paper is a good DIY solution. Just print 10" numbers on your computer, cut them out as a template, trace it onto the back of the contact paper, and cut out your numbers. Then roll the template up in the roll of paper for next time.

I'm sure most of the places that sell these can overnight them to you and since they are rolled up, shipping shouldn't be too bad.

Also try arts and crafts shops for window markers. There is one product called "Go Team" that will work fine and it's available in colors. White or Yellow will provide be best visibility.

A local sign shop can make static cling numbers. Most shops can use any Windows Tru-type font. I had a set made 5 years ago and they still work fine as long as they are properly applied. I paid $40 for a pair of numbers and class designation. The numbers are 8" high, letters are 5" high. The characters are black on a clear background. I apply them by spraying water on the side of the doors and laying the sheet over the water. Squeegee out the water and that seals the material to the door. They even hold on for track day use.

There are probably other suppliers but this is where I get my reusable vinyl numbers.

http://www.soloperformance.com/Autoc...bers_c_34.html

Reusable Vinyl Material
SOLOTIME reusable vinyl products allow you to apply temporary numbers to your car and re-use them event after event. The extra thick material helps prevent tearing or stretching the numbers when they are removed. The low tack adhesive numbers come on a paper backing that allows you to store them between events.
Reusable material is best for fiberglass, plastic or aluminum cars or any vehicle used in high speed events.

These also work great for track days where you have to supply your own numbers. I have been using my numbers for a couple of years now.
