M1 Racing Oils?
Reading the Mobil literature on their racing oil products makes me want to use them in my TVS2300 LS3. Only down side seems to be that they might kill the cats sooner than the M1 15w50 I am using now.
So other than being a good citizen what is the down side of having your oil degrade the cats?
I live in Maryland so our emissions testing is only OBDII based so no exhaust gas tests!

Aren't the racing oils missing the detergents used in street oil? I don't think racing oils suspend the dirt and micro-debris the way street oil does.
If you change your oil often enough (read weekly) it might not matter, but if you go any length of time between oil changes then I believe you would actually experience more wear and tear in the long run.

Racing oils should be changed each event / weekend.
M1 racing oil is only used for 600 miles if that.
M1 "0" wt is a qualifying oil for only a few laps of use, then changed
Other options:
Red Line 40 wt
Amsoil 40 wt racing oil,
Joe Gibbs Racing oils would be good options too
