Can Anyone explain this code
My check engine light came on and i ran a scan through my HP tuners. The code that came on was ECM PO102 Mass Air Flow (MAF) Sensor circuit los frequency (pending) (old) (current) (immature).
Obviously this is a MAF code but what does PO102 indicate? Do these generally go back re track driven cars?

Did you recently put in or re-clean your air filter - like a K&N or other "wet" filter (filter you have to oil)?
Sometimes after you clean a "wet" filter some of the excess oil will get sucked down the intake tube and coat the wires on your MAF sensor, if you get some MAF cleaner from an autoparts store and clean off the wires it should go back to normal.

You can also have oil come out of the intake and throttle body and get on the MAF, all I'm saying is clean off the MAF and see if it gets rid of the code.
I've had oil on the MAF of my truck, it would be fine until I was pulling and if it would kick down going up a hill my check engine light would come one and it was a MAF code. MAF low frequency, I had recently cleaned the MAF and re-oiled my K&N fliter, I removed the MAF cleaned it again and haven't had the problem since.
I'm not saying that the K&N caused the issue, just saying that cleaning the MAF kept the code from reappearing.
