Default C6 T1 car for sale - Chicago - sold!

SOLD

2006 Phoenix built T-1 Corvette, new long block w/bat wing oil pan, (one race).6 spare wheels and tires, built from new car, Aim system. Sparco Steering wheel, CCW's, rebuilt JRZ shocks.

The car has had frame damage repaired from a wreck at Road America last year. The damage was repaired by Performance Restorations, which is a well respected Corvette repair shop outside of Chicago (search in the Great Lakes forum to read more about them).

The right front horn was cut off and replaced. The car has all new bodywork on the passenger side, a new rear bumper and hatch. The car will have a mirror at time of delivery.

Stock brakes w/ a ton of Hawk pads if you plan to keep running the stock brakes.

It needs a new seat and probably a new harness as it's an FIA one and has expired I think. The seat was modified (cut up) to accomodate it's current owner.

I almost bought this car myself, got a killer deal on an ST2 car. Just trying to help the guy sell the car. A few shops have looked at it and I can give details to anyone who is interested.

e-mail me at clubracer6@aol.com for more info.

Thanks for looking!

Is it an LS2 or LS3?

It appears to be a LS2 car.

If I wasn't so broke I would be all over this and run it the way it is till I could afford the LS3 motor with dry sump upgrade.

Here's a bump for a great price and good looking car.

Aaron

Is this Tracy's old car or what is owner history?

Thanks Aaron and yep, it's an LS2. Super clean car... Obviously, fresh paint, so really nice inside and out.

I would lobby hard to get this thing some help with SCCA or just run ST2 with NASA and have a blast.

I agree - this is a steal... you can add an LS3, big brakes, 3 set of 18's and still be in this car under $50k if T1 is your goal. I know Berkely was running the Wildwood's successfully - so you could by those and keep the 17's.

The car has been moved to Elkhart Lake, WI. This is a great deal - if I could do it over again, I would have bought this instead!

You know, I don't want anybody to take this the wrong way, but this car has been for sale for over a year and nobody bought it yet. If it's such a great deal, why?? Other in similar price range went without a problem in very reasonable time frame.

At one point I contacted the seller. Car has body damage history and pretty severe. I couldn't get any more pictures and he wasn't bending even a dollar on price so I decided to look elsewhere. Maybe the seller needs to really put some effort in to this to move the car. Frankly he's probably spent more money on storage than if he just came off the price a little and moved it almost a year ago.

Just my 2 cents

Sold sold sold!

Looks like Oli recruited someone from the Sports Racer ranks to join the South Cal T1 crew. Looks like your T1 gang is getting bigger all the time!
