That would be incorrect sir. The correct answer is clearly $600 enclosed lug nuts.

The porsche club would claim that it's a racing seat and 6 point harness, even without hans or roll bar.

Anyone else have thoughts on what the best safety upgrade on the market is?

For my 2 cents the best safety upgrade available is experience.

2nd to that is a combination of cage, seat, restraints, hans and fire protection.

Clear bra! It provides vital impact protection and load distribution when crashing into a tire barrier, wall or another race car.

Plus it keeps the waxer finish looking good for the post race crash interview.

Yes, nice suggestion, but not quite #1. The best safety mod for our cars would have to be $6,000 unobtanium lug nuts. Just think, once you buy them your annual track budget will be shot and you'll be safely at home watching the Speed Channel . Just don't choke on a pretzel or something...

Roll cage bar and many many drivers / race schools are the best safety upgrades

Not as important as the Titanium tire stem caps. Of course they must have extended threads.
