I do a similar display for Christmas. The hard part is the synchronizing part. Figuring out what lights on what channel takes a lot of time. He has way more channels than I do. Wiring to the light controller(s) is the easy part.

If he had the DMX program was already set it was only a matter of setting up the lights. If it was a first time program it took a lot more time probably several days.

Very nice...but an expensive hobby. This is more than a few thousand dollars in equipment.

He said in one of the replies that it took him 10 hours per minute of music because of the syncing of the mouth. 6 minute video.
