Default DRM is doing a GP on Bilstien revalved shocks Again!!!

Well it's that time again. Due to the overwhelming support, feedback and sales of the last Group buy. DRM pairs up with Bilstein of America again to offer the same deal as last year. For those that don't know about the last GP here is that thread. http://forums.corvetteforum.com/c6-z...uy-thread.html

We ended up selling a 120 sets of shocks during that GP!!! With great results on the street, auto-x and track. To make a long story short people have been happy with them. Our goal is to make more happy customers with this GP.

We had a few lessons to learn from last time. Due to my upfront personality I will be honest.

The last one was a paper work mess. With orders coming in by fax, email, pm, phone, and even in person. It was a bit of a struggle to keep things straight. But overall it went very well, one person got shipped a double set and one person didn't pay for half of a set. But other then that we had less then 24 hour shipping from the time they hit our door back out!!! DRM action: This time we will be doing it from our website, so that should make it easier.

Lead time from Bilstein got too close to racing session for most guys. DRM action: Start this earlier in the fall (like right now)

Here is the deal. We need 70 people to sign up, and then we will place the order for a 100 sets. I'm hoping to get the order in by Turkey day.

Set of (4) Custom Valved Bilstein shocks shipped to the lower 48 states for the total price of $450.01.

The first .01 is to put your name on the list. One more penny for the bushings. The $.01 or $.02 is non refundable if we can't hit our mark of 70 sets.
Half will be charged via credit card or paypal when we place the order (Turkey day goal) .
Then the 2nd half will be paid in full at the time of shipment (March).
http://dougrippie.com/?p=1046

We are still going to do the upper bushings for a discounted price of 25 dollars for a set of 4. These have been proven to be a good upgrade for racers and hard drivers! With very little drawback, I'm very comfortable selling them to everyone.

Shocks are being built in the Bilstein Ohio plant, bushings are built by Energy Suspension in CA.

If you guys and gals have any questions along the way please let me know, via this thread, PM, phone, email, or stop in the shop!

Thanks

We have many (Race, Hypercoil leafs, VB&P springs and etc), but this GP is for a upgraded street-track setup. We built it for guys looking to not kill the good street ride and improve the handling. It was setup for the C6Z but is so damn close to the C5 and C6 stuff we have done in the past, that we are selling them to those customers also. With great feedback from everyone!!!

Randy
BTW Happy belated birthday!!!

Any chance of a C4 group buy for shocks in the future? I saw the thread on the brackets but in my race class I need to use stock mounting locations. Custom valved shocks I can use!

Bilstein is a bit tricky when it comes to larger runs like a GP. They only do runs of 100 sets which is a lot to shops like us, but very little in the big picture. So if you think there is anyway of getting 100 C4 guys on board. I'm game If not, I will treat you right on a re-valve.
