Default 3rd GM slave gone bad! What am I doing wrong?

LS2 with 440 RWHP and using Ram powergrip HD clutch. Starting to think clutch is to stiff for stock slave cylinder.
Anybody make an aftermarket slave? I'm thinking a twin disk set up might be lighter on the slave? Would ZR1 clutch discs work on my LS2? (I see Mike Yeager is selling them at what looks like good prices)
This 06 coupe is about 1/2 and 1/2, track/street, not used for much street use anymore, however slave went out on a corvette run with/buds last week.
Really looking for some help here, getting very frustrating.
