Default Looking for a set of 18" rims

Why is this such a hard thing to find for a C6 Z06??? at a decent price that is.

I am looking for rims that I can dedicated to Auto-X and HPDE, so in other words, functionality over fashion. Sure there are some gorgeous HRE, or ForgeLine, or Vossen, etc. rims all for some pretty high $$$. But those companies are mostly interested in 19/20 or 20/20 combos. Then there is CCW, the racers choice and in whatever size you need! But for the casual weekend racer, even CCW is expensive when compared to a set of reproduction Z06 18/19" rims for about $1500. Where are the inexpensive 18" rear rims for a C6Z??? Is this a niche market, is there a potential business here???

Oh, I should mention that the reason for 18" all around, is to take advantage of the great deals on scrubs, which 18" is the popular size.

OK, flame on

CCW's are an excellent value for what they are, keep in mind the Corsairs are more than double the strength of the stock wheels.

I have heard about forgestar, but it does not seem they have the right offset for C6Z rears in 18"

YES YES YES, I would love a set of CCWs, but just not willing to spend that much right now. Still just having fun running around the cones, and looking for a inexpensive way to be more competitive.

Any other suggestions?????

It is easy to get the standard sizes for C6s or C6Zs (18"F/19"R or 19"F/20"R) at a good price, because thousands of people want them, so companies can mass-produce them.

The sizes you want are much more expensive, because only a few people want them, so they have to be custom made.

If you want wide 18" rears with the correct offsets for a C6 or C6Z, then you will have to pay at least $700 per wheel. That's just the way it is.

gonna have to be on the ball to find a used set they go quickly if a good price.

they are like the holy grail for us c6z racers and most of us all are wanting to pay the used price for them.

one good thing about them is if you decide to get outta racing you will not lose your **** on them since you can sell them for 80% of purchase price usually since they are so sought after

I assume the offsets are wrong for the C6Z06 replicas, or they're not wide enough?

And you can't use rear C5Z06 rims? I've heard someone doing that before...

I have House of Wheels C6Z rims powdercoated gloss black. The rears are 18X12. They were great to deal with and very helpful. The rims are a great deal for what they are. I bought them as my street setup. I heard they aren't as strong as the stock rims because of the metal used but I'm not sure. They are VERY heavy though.

I am selling my CCW's but I don't know if they can be used on a C6Z or not. Here's the add for them:

What size tire do you use on the 18x12's?
