[vids] Interesting autocross observation. FI vs. NA
These are vids from this past Saturday. My friend Jason (coolhand5599) showed up with his AWESOME 2011 Grandsport on street tires, albiet, good rubber. He's supercharged, cam, header, alcohol injection, ... 670 HP + at the crank.
Mine is a stock Z06 (505HP), but autocrossed prepped.
His awesome car:
Mine:
Same driver, same course. His car ran a 47.3, mine ran a 43.3.
His was WAY more fun to drive!!
Yes, it puts to bed, FI on a Corvette in autocross is totally unnecessary.
FWIW, I ran a 47.1 in a 2005 C6 vert on street tires, stock motor.

I have fixed mounted videos of many of these runs. Unfortunately, I'm out of town until Thursday and the cameras are back in Fort Myers. I'll post up a few from both cars next weekend. 
From what I've heard, GoPro has crap sound, as does one of my cameras. I was very impressed by the sound from his "cell pone"
