Rear wheel/tire options on a C6Z06?
So I'm seriously contemplating a C6Z06 purchase that will likely see 80% street use and maybe 20% road course/open track days. But the cost of replacing the rear 19" rubber scares me.
I realize there are plenty of costs in tracking a car, but am trying to keep the costs down to a minimum (I'm not that great or serious of a driver). What are some inexpensive routes to tracking the Z, using street tires?
Can I buy an older pair of C5Z06 rear wheels (18x10.5) and use them/will they fit? If so, what is a good tire size?
Thanks.

If you just want to dip your toe and get started, you could run with NT05's or even the stock OEM tires. Though the G2's are supposed to be even better. The NT05's can be obtained for about $1100 for a set of 4
