Default 2 piece baer eradispeed disassembly

how difficult is it to take the rotor ring off of the center hat? any special tools required?

I used to do this with my Eradispeeds on my C5. Not hard at all, just need the right ratchet end. There is also a torque spec ..... but I just made them tight and never had a problem.

You'll need a #5 tri wing bit (available through aircraft suply houses and Bear) for the fasteners. Baer recommends replacing them after two uses. They were pretty helpful when I replaced mine. I found that alittle PB Blaster on the nuts helped them to loosen up freely. Check with Bear for torque specs... doesn't take much to tighten them down, and blue locktite will keep them from loosening up.
