Default Road Atlanta with Chin

Video from C4 at Chin event at RA last weekend. Not too many clean laps, but some nice cars. Experimented with different camera mounts, and I didn't realize there was a vibration with one mounting point.

First part is of a Ferrari 458 pulling my tired LT1 hard down the straight on the warmup lap. No telling what it could do with an advanced driver. Only video I have of it.
Second part is a GTR pulling my tired LT1 hard down the straight. Still amazes me how fast they are with the hammer down.
Last part is my fastest lap of the weekend - 1:45.7.

till you ran him down by T3 after

I heard you guys over there all weekend, typically the club days aren't that loud, must have been a lot of race cars testing and tuning.

I am looking at TTC and TTB rules right now to try to set the car up this winter. I figure I might as well get it set up how I want and start doing HPDEs like that. Too many choices though.

If Varkwso ever builds that TTB C5, he's gonna be tough to beat.

I am hoping to squeeze into TTC but it will have to be on 255 NT01s.

The ONLY way to squeeze a C4 into TTC is soft (stock) springs, shocks and sways.
Mine has the Z07 suspension and with 275 hoosier R6's I have 4 points to play with in TTB.

Who knows where my dyno reclass will put me next year, I'm dropping in a 383 next year.
Going from 300hp flywheel to about 400hp flywheel (thats its advertised HP, maybe I can tune it to get monster torque and keep it below 330 rwhp )

At least the j55 brakes count as stock because the later year did have them as OEM stock

Looking at past events it seems like the winners of TTB and TTC are within 2-3 seconds of each other. I would guess Hoosiers over NT01s would make up that difference. Also seems like more cars in TTB.

That field of view gives a much greater sense of speed. Can I ask what times you were getting in that run?

That lap was around 1:42.
My best laps for the weekend were 1:38's to 1:39's

I tried to compare yours to mine to see where I am falling behind and you pull me by 2-3 seconds down the back straight and then some through 10 even with you passing another car. Looks like I need to find some speed through 10.

You do realize you are driving a C4 ? How fast do you think a C4 can go?

Looks like after my misadventures at Roebling a couple of weeks ago, I'll be dropping in a LS376 create motor into my 05 C6 should be interesting!!!
