Tommy Kendall heads to Carolina Motorsports Park for a wild drive with 5-time NASCAR Sprint Cup champion Jimmie Johnson, and Corvette factory driver Johnny O’Connell.
Next, Johnson hits the track in the C6R racecar that O’Connell runs in the American Le Mans series, to talk about Corvette power and performance – in both their racecar and their street cars.
Then, Kendall hooks up with Carolina Panther’s All-Pro running back – and muscle car enthusiast – D’Angelo Williams, for a laid back cruise along the city streets near the Bank of America Stadium.
Finally, Kendall takes the Grand Sport Convertible for a spin through the scenic back-country roads of South Carolina for a final look at what makes Corvette such an iconic American performance car.

Saw it this morning.
Pretty impressive.
If I didn't know it was Tommy and Jimmy driving through the corners I would swear it was Danny just driving normally.

Good show. I found it interesting to see two professional drivers spin in the two most common areas at CMP: the Kink and T11.
Jimmy's spin at the Kink reminded me of the spin a buddy of mine did there two years ago. Except my buddy kicked up a tidal wave of sand towards the T11 cornerworker stand.
Tommy's spin at T11 definitely reminded me of my spin there this summer.

I've seen quite a few cars lose it at the kink in the past 2 years but usually they just do a 180 and slide backwards.
I think that may have been some kind of record for amount of spins after the kink...
