Default Silly T1 shock question

I picked up a set of used T1 shocks. I went to install them on my 99 today. they didn't include any of the bushings. That's no big deal except I'm not sure what all i'm missing. What bushings should be under the dust shields(?) front and rear. Thank you in advance for any help

There are no bushings under the dust shields. The dust shield sits on top of the snap ring on the shock shaft. If you're reusing the bushings from the shocks that are currently on your car, just reassemble everything in the same order you took them off.

Bushing or a bump stop?

I'm guessing it was a bump stop on the Bilsteins. The T1 shocks had nothing

I would not expect much from a set of USED T1 shocks.....they are great for a season, but won't hold up long if they are used at the track.

What do you mean? Are they notoriously short-lived? How many track days before they need a rebuild? Are they that fragile?

all OEM shocks are low bid items and go down hill fast. OEM's pay peanuts for a shock on the average car. Few years agog it was about 9-11 bucks I read
