LS7=grenade.....Boy this sure seems to happen alot compared to any other LS engine.

No flames but 10 times the smoke (especially being 10 feet behind ya). Your corrective action to pull off but keep off the burms was magnificent though...

I talked to the owner after the event when they brougt his car back into the pit area. He told me he hit the rev limiter several times and should have shifted sooner. It just melted the paint off the back of the car.

The session before we did the practice red/black flag drill. So when I saw the red flag again in this session I thought they got our group mixed up.
