C5 widebody track wheels.
Looking for a set of track wheels for C5 widebody +1" front, +2" rear (Corvette Creationz). Budget under 2k, I'll likely grab a few sets. I want to run Rivals/r888r's 315/30/18 front, 335/30/18 rear. I'm thinking 11" up front, 12.5-13"" rear. I absolutely do not want Forgestars. Every other car has F14s, and I'm over it.
I looked at the Apex SM-10 C6 widebody setup. I believe 18x11 et 38 would work up front.. should get fronts flush, or 1-2mm poke. Inboard clearance should be good. Reasoning: stock c5z wheel is 9.5 et 54, stock c6z is 10" et 40... Pushes it out 20mm further... Results in a bit of poke if youve seen that. 11" et 38 is 35mm more than stock. Add 25mm for wide fenders, and its only 10mm difference in relation. Or in other calcs, the 11 et 38 is the same outboard position as 12 et 51mm, and that just pokes just a bit.
The rears are 18x12.5 et 52. I figure I could run a 12mm hub centric spacer and have the wheels sit flush. A lot of the wide c5s run 13s in the 43-46 range, so 12.5 at 40et (counting the spacer) would be same outboard position as 13 et 46.
Best thing about C6Z setup, is easy to sell if i change my mind later, as any c6 widebody car could use it. Not many c5s with front and rear wide body.
Can someone double check my math on that stuff?
Any concerns with scrub radius? C5z has 1mm factory, so would be around 33mm with this setup.
Any other wheels I should look at?

SPEC Corvette wheels (trackspecmotorsports.com)
Spec Corvette has 11 and 12.5. Might be what your looking for. I have the 11.

The front are 18x11 et54 which would need a 12-15mm spacer to get it flush with the fender.
So I'm probably running the same spacer either way, And same ballpark price. Wish I would have bought in either one of the group buys.

My vote would be for the APEX wheels. I think they look great, and as you say can be sold to the C6 guys later if you decide to change.

Sorry, I meant to say:
I use the same diemensions as I use on the C6 Z06 for the race track
10.5x18 ET37 295 30 18 = SLICK 280 650 18
12.5X18 ET52 335 30 18 = SLICK 300 680 18
here another picture of my old C5 XXR with my son Justin

I ordered a set of the APEX SM-10s in 18 x 11, 18 x 12.5, which are backordered until feb. I'm leaning to the NT01s for a street/ beginner HPDE stuff. Seems like those, R888R and Rivals are the only street tires that are 335/30/18.

I wish the SM-10 came in a narrow body fitment...bummer. Well and 18x10.5 or 11 in a narrow body offset.
