Default C&D Lightning Lap

Found this in the Z06 section. The new Z with the carbon ZR1 package is putting up some impressive times. Kudo's to GM. Obviously, these are OEM cars on OEM tires, not modded cars with R compounds.

2.4 seconds faster than a GT3RS is pretty impressive accomplishment, especially since the RS has 450hp, which isn't so far off from the Z06 anymore.

For reference, the ZR1 did it last year 1.7 seconds faster than this years Z06, and the only 2 cars that beat it were the Mosler and Viper ACR.

Edit: Nice to see the Z06 on those ZR-1 tires as well. Seems like GM could have at least gave it a bump in hp too so it would show well in the magazines and lead to more hype and more sales. Would have looked nice along side a REAL PRODUCTION Z06-X.........

But that would make too much sense for GM to do it.

Why is the Z07 so much heavier when it has Carbon Ceramics? Are the magnetic shocks that heavy?
