Default WTB: Used Brembo or Stoptech Brakes

Anyone have a set of Brembo or Stoptech brakes for the front and rear that they are willing to part with?

I have some spare parts left from my Brembo kit. Carriers and front hats. Brand new. Let me know if you interested.

Consider Alcon's?

With the carbon/graphite rotors, you can stop time. 3k

I would consider pulling the Brembos off my car and selling if you are interested. About 8000 street miles and never raced. I'm thinking ZR1 brakes.

You would need to re-drill the hats or buy new ones (they are 5 x 5 bolt pattern) and fab up mounting brackets. They are from my ex GT-1/Trans-Am car so they should stop a Z06 no problem.

just search for your favorite brand calipers and you will find them, alot of them are used nascar calipers, very high end ones but still around 2k for a pair of just the calipers

most are meant to use 12-13 inch rotorsq

The problem is most of those nascar calipers need 3-3.3 inches of clearance from the rotor face to the inside of the wheel face. Not really Going to happen even with the most custom of custom wheels.

The other thing you have to be carful of is that a lot of the NASCAR calipers are lug mount. These have more flexand aren't as easy to mount to a Corvette as the radial mount.
Just a note to make sure to check about what you are getting.

I have the ability to machine new hats.
What is the pad thickness? What do replacement C/G rings sell for? What is the front and rear ring diameter?

Pad thickness is between 3/8 and 1/2". I don't know for sure about replacement cost (as I bought these second hand from IROC) but someone wrote 1700 on each. Is that temp or cost? I don't know. All four are the same diameter (approx. 12.5"). The other four are steel.

Here are a few caliper pix-fronts
