need harness bar
I see all kinds of crappy universal bars on Ébay etc, but I'm not quite that desperate.
Considering going against my rule of putting harnesses in a street car. C6Z06. What units are good (not necessarily BEST, but good/safe), light, and inexpensive.
If anyone has a used one, that's a plus too.
Thanks!

I've heard good things about the Shark Bar
http://vetteworksonline.com/Corvette_C6bar.htm
I have the Hardbar harness bar in my C5Z and like it very much.

You boys in TTU are in for some trouble. David has been devoting 30% of his concentration HANGING ON TO THE WHEEL with stock seats and an OEM 3pt.
David,
Mark N. was trying to sell one recently. If he still has it, Morris can bring it back for you next weekend.

I've heared great things about Sharkbar and hardbar, now Brey Kraus. "Best" wasn't a requirement, but I would love to hear more.
Or I may just build one!

Gary's Hardbar is $350 and I've never heard a bad word spoken (or written) about his products.

QUOTE=Scooter70;1576482580]Can you share more info on your bar or is the offer for Dave only?
We make our own bars for the Corvette's we have C-5 and C6.
They mount to the original seat belt hole by using a longer bolt. All you have to do is drill a hole in the plastic cover the size of the bar and that's it. It also comes with seat rails that mount to your existing seat bolts. All you do is take the nut off, place the rail on and then put the nut back on. Now you hook your belts to it.
Simple, not fancy. Inexpensive way to have a 5 or 6 point harness.
$250 plus shipping.

I like the Arizona Speed & Marine bar as well as the B-K - both are low enough to get the recommended should harness angles. Many/most available force the harnesses to angle upwards (out of spec).
The Sharkbar separators pictured are largely useless. You want separators to keep a constant (ideal) distance btw the belts where they wrap around the bar. Some roll bar padding and zip ties will do the trick.

The pictures of the Hardbar (in posts 14 & 15) and of the Sharkbar (in post # 18) show a racing harness used with a Corvette seat that does not have pass-throughs for the shoulder straps.
This is bad Bad BAD, because the shoulder straps can not go over the shoulders in the correct position. This is even worse than the stock belt's shoulder strap.
PLEASE, do not do what is shown in those pictures.
