V8 StockCar Series 2011 Schedule
Naples,FL- With eleven events and twenty two races at nine tracks in four states the 2011 season of the V8 StockCar Road Racing Series promises to be both exciting and challenging.
The Series will kick off at Sebring February 12-13 before moving to PBIR for the Florida Region SCCA double SARRC event March 26-27. For the first time ever the series will be part of the HSR Walter Mitty at Road Atlanta April 30-May1. The Mitty is a very well promoted and attended spectator event and will create a lot of excitement.
Marquee additions to the schedule include racing at VIR with the Grand Am Rolex Series and SCCA Trans Am on May 14 & 15. June 18 & 19 the series is scheduled to be at the brand new facility at Dawsonville Ga, Atlanta Motorsports Park.
In August the series will return to Daytona after a years absence. The brand new smooth racing surface with improved grip will most likely mean that track records will fall. Labor Day weekend will be a first for the series as we will have a north event at Barber to go along with our traditional race at Sebring. The series will return to the high banks at Homestead-Miami Speedway September 17-18 before returning the SARRC Invitational Challenge at Roebling Road on October 15-16.
The season will conclude with the American Road Race of Champions at Road Atlanta November 4 & 5, where the four series class champions will be crowned.
Come be a part of the hottest, big noise, club racing series in the country. V8 StockCar 2011.

Our V8 GT2 class is a good fit for the SCCA STO, T1, ITO, GT2,
NASA ST2, ex Koni Challenge cars etc.
Full on Nasa ST1 cars might fit into V8 GT-1, lesser built ST-1's might still fit into V8 GT-2.
The performance benchmark for the V8 GT-2 class is the SCCA STO cars.
Bob Mayer is our 2010 Champion with Ed Lewis runner up and Cape Coral, Fl BMW M3 racer Doug Wilson third.
An exciting new event this year will be the May VIR event with Grand Am. Get to race in front of the Grand Am & Trans Am fans for the cost of a typical SCCA/NASA entry fee.
